Music Monday - Professor Layton
So I'm taking a small break from working on our pieces for the December 1st Thank You For Playing art show at the Living Arts Centre. I would link it here, but I don't think the Living Arts Centre has posted the details yet... either way, if we're friends on Facebook, or if you're a fan of Revolver Games on Facebook, you will get an invite to the opening reception! Otherwise just keep following us here on our blog for details! The last couple of weeks, I'd been playing the most recent entry in the Professor Layton series, Professor Layton and the Last Specter. I played through this one really slowly, mostly because I'm terribly busy and don't have much time to play games. Usually that would mean NOT playing games, but I just can't miss a Layton game. I tried to skip this one. Really. Well, I guess I didn't try very hard...
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (NDS)
London Streets - Future London's theme
Professor Layton and the Curious Village (NDS)
Walking in the Village - St.Mystere's theme
Professor Layton and the Last Specter (NDS)
Misthallery's Many Canals - Misthallery's theme
The Professor Layton series features music composed by Level-5's Tomohito Nishiura. He always manages to capture that charming European atmosphere that the games are known for. The following live arrangement is from the second game in the series and is a personal favourite of mine.
Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box
Folsense (Live)
